Maybrick has been carrying out a boiler renewal programme. Over the last three years, we have replaced around 300 boilers. We are members of the Worcester Bosch Energy Efficiency Initiative and the Tower Hamlets Energy Efficiency Unit which offers grants and loans to members of the community wishing to upgrade to a more efficient system.

We provide Benchmark certificates for every installation as well as the HVCA double-guarantee. We have installed a CHP (Combined Heat and Power) unit to Waterview House in Tower Hamlets. This was the first micro-turbine CHP system to be installed in the UK. For more information on this project see our separate Showcase item on Waterview House.

We have also installed full central heating systems to individual occupied dwellings for Newham Council, Enfield Council, Tower Hamlets and Islington Council, and District Heating Systems for Tower Hamlets.

At Mayflower Nursery (featured), we installed a new Potterton Slimline Modular 70/SCF boiler, with expansion vessel, control panel, and LST radiators.

Maybrick has installed mechanical services to new-build projects for various clients including Fann Street, a large nursing home project, and Wick-Homer, a housing project. We provide a full mechanical & electrical design and build service.

Lambeth Walk (featured) was a new-build project by Durkan Limited. From ground level up, Maybrick installed the Mechanical Services to the new flats, houses and community centre.

Dependent on size, the flats and houses installations included Baxi boilers (Bahama, Genesis or Solo) with Barlo Roundtop radiators, Peglar TRV's, 42 x 18 High Recovery FL indirect cylinders, Pland Tudor Inset sinks to kitchen, Twyfords Advent toilets & basins to cloakrooms and bathrooms and Ariston stainless steel baths.

The installation at the community centre included a Glow Worm Ultimate 120FF boiler, Myson LST (low surface temperature) radiators, an IMI Supercal 900 x 450 FL indirect cylinder, Grundfos pump and Honeywell controls. The facilities included Twyfords Advent toilets & basins, Clifton urinals and an Avalon Disabled Facilities (DocM) suite.
